HOW IT WORKS: This is a valet parking service. Drive to the drop-off point at the address indicated on your reservation and the valet company staff will take charge of your vehicle, taking it to be parked in their guarded car park in the outskirts of Amsterdam, where it will remain until you ask for it to be returned.
Remember! This is just the meeting point where the driver will collect your vehicle :)
If you are visiting the world-renowned Van Gogh museum & Rijksmuseum or staying close to the museum & fashion district, we highly recommend our valet parking service. Have your car parked safely, cost effectively and conveniently! The service is available for both guests and visitors to the area.
The drop-off point is at Hotel Aalders on Jan Luijkenstraat, 13-15, between the Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat and Van Baerlestraat, near Museumplein. Valet parking is an upcoming service in Amsterdam, because parking spots are very scarce and the hourly rates are sky-high. You drive directly to the drop-off point at Hotel Aalders. The driver will then take your car to a secured, safe car park, just outside the centre of Amsterdam. Your car will be returned at the agreed time and location.
Now, off you go. Explore! » ‘A square full of world famous museums’, it sounds too good to be true, right? However, in Amsterdam it exists! This area is a real treat for anyone who loves art. You can visit the Van Gogh Museum, which is just a few minutes’ walk away from the drop-off point. Very close as well, is one of Amsterdam’s most popular and grandest museums: the Rijksmuseum. Some others in the square are the Stedelijk Museum, for modern art, design and contemporary art, and the Moco Museum, which is famous for its original choice of exhibitions.
In front of the museum quarter, there is the Royal Concert Hall. This is one of the world’s most exclusive concerts halls. Built in 1888, the building itself is beautiful, so you might just want to have a look at it, even if you don't go inside. ☺
It's not without reason that this is called the Museum and Fashion Disctrict of Amsterdam. In this area you will find the P.C. Hooftstraat, which is one of the world’s best and most exclusive shopping streets. It’s especially amazing if it's luxury brands that you're after!
For these kind of excursions or trips, it might be useful to know that we offer both a six-hour stay and stays for one day or more for this area - at some very attractive prices!
If you've got time and you’re looking for a way to relax, the Vondelpark is right around the corner from the hotel. This park has an official National Heritage Status and is a wonderful place to unwind, chill with some drinks or you can even go all out with a full blown picnic!
To ensure a smoothly run stay in Amsterdam, use our valet service! You will be exactly where you want to be, without the extremely high prices that come with parking in the centre!
