Petrol vehicles Euro 1 and Diesel Euro 2 DO NOT have access to this car park as it is located within the ZTL. The CAR rates only apply to small- and medium-sized vehicles (maximum length 3.9m). For vehicles like SUVs and minivans, you will have to reserve with the VAN rates (minimum length 4m and maximum 5m). The Garage Excelsior is located in Florence, on Via Palazzuolo street and you'll love it for two reasons: you can park close to Santa Maria Novella railway station in case you'll have to take the train and because it's the best option to park in the centre of Florence and starting your visit of the city. In fact, the Santa Maria Novella railway station is only a 5-minute walk away from this guarded and covered car park. Also, In about 10 minutes, you'll arrive at the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathehrdral, which is at the heart of Florence. Visiting all of the main points of interest of Florence form this car park will not be a problem because, in less than a 10-minute walk from the Garage Excelsior you can reach the following places: the Basilica of San Lorenzo, the Piazza della Repubblica and the Piazza della Signoria, where you'll find the Palazzo Vecchio. After, if you're in Florence for an event or a fair, keep in mind that the Garage Excelsior is close to the Fortezza da Basso, where the the events hall of Florence is located. Make the most of your stay by taking a stroll the Arno without worrying about where to park in Florence (especially in the ZTL of Florence's city centre). Visit the birthplace of the renaissance, knowing that you car will be safely parked in a covered and guarded place of the Garage Excelsior - Santa Maria Novella car park! Upon arriving at the car park you will be required to pay 1euro to car park staff in order to access the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). If you pass underneath one of the detection cameras more than once during the operating hours of the ZTL you will be required to pay 1euro to the car park staff each time you do so. ARRIVAL: enter the car park. Park in any free space. Go to the office with your Parclick reservation. DEPARTURE: use the ticket the staff gave you. IF YOUR BOOKING ALLOWS UNLIMITED ENTRANCE AND EXIT: follow the same process, indicated before, to enter and exit.
