If you want to come to the centre to go for a little jog in Retiro Park, or if you're leaving from Atocha station for your next train ride, or if you simply want to leave your car in a covered and guarded car park a few minutes from the centre of Madrid to avoid endless traffic jams, you must reserve your parking space in the Garaje María Cristina. As you can see, we can think of many cases where you might need to park your car near Retiro Park. The Garaje Maria Cristina is only a 7-minute walk from Atocha Station, so you can forget about having to carry your luggage on the subway until you catch your train. Located in the southern part of Retiro Park, this site is ideal for starting a tourist route through the most touristic sites of Madrid and strolling through the gardens that this park hides. However, if you feel like skipping this destination and want to go straight to the centre, you can take the metro from Menéndez Pelayo station (Line 1) and get to the centre or to the unique Malasaña neighbourhood in just 15 minutes.
