This car park is located outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone). Sundays and public holidays from 07:00am to 19:00pm. If you've decided to drive to Vatican City during your trip to Rome, it could be an uphill journey (and not just metaphorically speaking). But we have good news! Gran Melià - Gianicolo on Via del Gianicolo, a car park close to the Vatican, is perfect if you want to leave your car in good hands during your visit. Gran Melià - Gianicolo car park is just 600 meters from St. Peter's Square, where the incredible St. Peter's Basilica stands. It's also near plenty of other major sites of interest in Rome: Sant'Angelo Castle, Villa Farnesina, and Gianicolo Park, all just a 10 minute walk away. You can also take advantage of the fact that this car park is outside of the Rome ZTL, but still close to the center of Rome so you can park nearby without having any problems related to accessing and driving around the city. This car park close to St. Peter's Square is also covered, monitored, and open 24 hours a day, so it's a great place to park in Rome, regardless of what you have planned during your stay. ;) We'll just add one last thing: With this covered car park in Rome, you can also park near Santo Spirito Hospital.
