The Ca' d'oro has housed the Galleria Giorgio Franchetti since 1927. The museum also houses sections dedicated to ceramics, bronzes, sculptures and bas-reliefs, including the Madonna and Child by Jacopo Sansovino, in addition to various laboratories that are dedicated to restoration and conservation of artworks.
To visit the museum a reservation is required. Tickets cost € 6, with a reduced cost of € 3 for certain categories. Before many of its colours disappeared, Ca' d'Oro was considered one of the finest examples of Gothic style.
