Parking in MICAM

Every year in Milan there are a whole host of fairs passing through Rho Fiera, but there is only one that lovers and workers in the footwear sector wait for impatiently.

If you are after multiple wardrobes full of shoes and sometimes find yourself waking up in a cold sweat after a nightmare about having to wear the same pair of trainers every day, MICAM is not something you want to miss!

It is a global leading event in the footwear industry, which comes to Rho Fiera twice a year, in February and then September, to present the new collections for autumn-winter and spring-summer respectively.

It might be worth starting to get yourself organised ASAP for the next edition; all visitors must be approved and if you are coming from outside Milan the best thing to do is get booking that hotel and while you’re at it, why not book a car park near Rho Fiera.

Reaching Rho Fair for MICAM

MICAM Shuttle

If you don't find any car parks at Rho Fiera, or if you prefer not to have to drive to the event site and instead leave your car safely in a car park in the centre of Milan, this year the MICAM organizers have just thought of you ;) 

There is now a free shuttle service, the MICAM Shuttle, that connects the fair to the city centre, passing by the following stops:

• Milan Garibaldi Station
• Milan Central Station
• Piazza Repubblica (next to the Hotel Principe di Savoia)
• Bastions of Porta Venezia - Piazza Oberdan

There is a shuttle about every 15/20 minutes during the afternoons of the first three days of the event and about 40 minutes on the afternoon of the last day, i.e. February 19.

If you and your company are ready to take part, here are a few numbers to get you thinking “going to MICAM was a truly brilliant idea!”. The show takes up an enormous area, covering about 63,000 square metres, made up of about 1,400 exhibitors, coming from more than 30 countries around the world!

One event alone can attract about 90,000 visitors in these four days, which is why it is important to get ahead of the crowds and book everything in advance… including your parking!
