The 10th arrondissement of Paris is more on the edge of packed tourist centre, so if you’re looking for a more authentic Parisian experience then this might be the place for you. Plus, if you want to go a bit further afield, it’s great too since it’s home to both the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l’Est.
This area always has something going on, meaning that there’s plenty of traffic! As well as the two massive train stations, there are also the Saint-Louis and the Lariboisière hospitals. All of this basically means that you’ll be hard pressed to find somewhere to park on the street, and even if you do, it will cost you and you can only park there for a maximum of two hours - hardly ideal, right? But Parclick saves the day! Take a look at our map to find a car park, which suits you! Book now in just a few clicks.
An urban residential district in the French capital
The northeast 10th arrondissement is much more of a residential area. For all travellers among you: if you want to explore the northern or eastern part of France or you want to continue to the Benelux, Scandinavia or Northern Germany, then this is the place for you! You can get practically everywhere from the Gare du Nord or Gare de l’Est!
However, if you want to chill out a bit from the hustle and bustle of the big city, then the Canal Saint-Martin is the ideal choice. Chill out with a coffee and a croissant in one of the cafes, overlooking the canal. Oh the Parisian life style! Then a stroll in the Jardin Villemin would really destress you.
For a fun evening, we recommend a visit to the theatre. How about the Bouffes du Nord or the Théâtre de la Renaissance?
The 10th arrondissement of Paris is divided into the following four administrative districts: the St Vincent-de-Paul district, Porte-Saint-Denis, Porte-Saint-Martin and l'Hôpital-Saint-Louis.
We still have one tip for you: in the evening, during the week, you must check out the Quai de Valmy. This isn’t in all the tourist guides, but the Parisians have taken to enjoying wine and baguettes here, so it must be pretty good!
Simply leave your car in one of our parking garages and make your way through the 10th arrondissement or to one of the train stations Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est - no matter where you’re off to, we hope you have an incredible time!
