The 16th arrondissement of Paris is one of the 20 arrondissements of Paris and is divided into the four districts of Auteuil, Muette, Porte-Dauphine and Chaillot. The arrondissement is surrounded by the Seine both to the east and the west as the area is located at a curve in the river.

This area is primarily distinguished by the presence of the Bois de Boulogne (with the Bagatelle Park right next to it), which includes several sports facilities such as the Longchamp Racecourse. This is the only part of the 16th arrondissement that is located outside of inner Paris, on the other side of the Boulevard Périphérique - except for several sports facilities in the southwest of the arrondissement which are also  located on the other side of the Périphérique. These sports facilities tend to attract a large number of fans, especially if there is a match at the Parc des Princes, the official stadium of PSG. The Jean Bouin Stadium and the Roland-Garros Stadium are also located nearby. As you can imagine, on match days or when there is a concert at the Parc des Princes, on-street parking is near impossible! we advise you to reserve your parking space in advance!

At the other end of the 16th arrondissement, you will find the squares and gardens of the Trocadéro and the Chaillot Palace. Nearby, you will also find the famous Aquarium de Paris, also known as the Cinéaqua. If visiting the Trocadéro, make sure to also take some beautiful pictures of the Eiffel Tower and Iena Bridge. Next to the Trocadéro, and the River Seine you will also find the Palais de Tokyo and if you head further south you will be able to access the Maison de la Radio.
