The Maritime Museum in Barcelona is located in the well-known Royal Atarazanas building, which is in Barcelona’s former shipyards, which were used from the 13th to the 18th century. It’s here at the Drasannes, where Barcelona established their naval dominance of the Mediterranean. The museum was opened in 1929, and covers over 10,000 square metres today!
