Nestled just to the south of the Bercy Park, and just a stone’s throw away from the train station of the same name is Bercy Village. Pretty great location, right? We agree, it’s a great place to start any day out or night out in Paris. But, there is a downside - it’s a nightmare to find parking. Then if you are successful (woop!), you have to pay pretty high prices (boo!) and you’re only allowed to be parked in the same space for a maximum of 2 hours (double boo!) So, sounds like your relaxing peruse round the boutique shops and dining in Bercy Village’s restaurants has been dashes, doesn’t it? Well, worry not! Parclick has a solution.
With Parclick you can book your parking space in advance, so you can choose exactly where you want to be parked, and for as many hours as you like - pretty cool!
Like the idea of meandering through a luxury leisure centre, which was once old wine store houses, but now is full of chic restaurants, boutique shops and a cinema - but not every place will break the bank, you’ll be able to find a 5 Guys there ;) Here you’ll find everything from typical French, delicious Italian, flavoursome Indian restaurants, as well as some pretty chic bars!
The Village is open every day of the week, with its shops open from 11am to 9pm and its restaurants offering great food until 2 o´clock in the morning! The Village also has regular events, and one of the most popular has to be the beautiful Christmas Lights, which illuminate its streets every year on those cold Winter nights.
The Village is suitable for those with physical and hearing disabilities, and we recommend that you use the Coeur St. Emilion metro station if travelling with a wheelchair, as there is no gap between the train and the platform. From this metro station, you can also check out some of Paris' other highlights - the Louvre or Arc de Triompre anyone?
It really is a hidden treasure, so go check it out! All whilst knowing that you’ve got everything sorted!
