Look for parking in Fira Barcelona

Fira Barcelona is one of the most important trade fair institutions in Europe, here there's always something going on! It has impressive facilities, and a fair bit of history behind it too! Since 1932, they have held thousands of events and conferences, covering almost everything you can think of. The Fira Barcelona is made up of two exhibition grounds, the first is called Montjuïc and the other Gran Vía and although there is only 3.5km between them, they both have their own distinct areas. Now, let us tell you now that parking near one of the Fira's venues isn't the easiest task. The Fira Barcelona trade fair venue is one of the most important and avant-garde venues in Europe. The venue covers an area of 400,000m2 ­for their events and conferences, and they get through a massive 500 a year! The Montjuïc exhibition ground, belonging to Fira, is one of the most surprising and striking of its kind. It was built in 1929 for the Exposición Universal. 

Nearby you can find the Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña (MNAC). It’s a pretty big place, with restaurants too! The other ground is called Fira Gran Vía and it’s the biggest of the two. It was designed by the Japanese architect Toyo Ito, with the concepts of being both sustainable and modern. It consists of 8 pavillions, connected by internal walkways. Plus, it’s equipped with the largest solar panel ever built on a roof. In its 240,000 square meters there is enough space that it includes a few restaurants and two heliports.
