Where to park in Plaza de España
Barcelona’s Plaza de España is stunning, but this can easily be overlooked if you’re spending ages looking for somewhere to park. Here streets merge at a pretty big roundabout, which, let’s just say, is no stranger to traffic jams.
But you’re an expert driver, okay, we believe you. But what can catch anyone out is Barcelona’s on street parking rules, split into two zones, you pay different amounts depending on whether you’re a resident or not. Plus, you can’t even park for half a day due to the time limits before you have to move your car. It’s hardly ideal. But there is a solution!

This famous square is a good point of reference if you’re wanting to go to the Fira de Barcelona, because the Montjuic pavilion is right here, this also means it’s practically impossible to get lost too!
This square’s fountain is beautiful, and very high! Then you cannot miss out on the National Museum of Art, which is bound to impress as soon as you spot it, thanks to its impressive façade.

When Catalonia banned bullfighting, it meant that many businesses had to reinvent themselves, and what a change for the better! The Plaza de Toros de las Arenas has become a fantastic shopping centre.
It’s architecture on the outside is largely unchanged, and it still retained its moorish style from when it was built in the 19th century. But there has been one adjustment, the exterior lift gives you an impressive view until you get to the roof. Here you’ll have a 360 degree view of Barcelona, from the city, the mountains to the sea. Pretty great, right?
If you fancy shopping ’til’ you drop then this is the place to do it! Here you could completely restock your wardrobe, with all the best brands and looks. As well as restaurants and a cinema so, if you’re not fancying anything heavier, then munch on some popcorn whilst seeing the latest block-buster!
