Look for parking in Plaça Sant Jaume

Plaça Sant Jaume is located in the heart of Barcelona’s Old City, in the Gothic Quarter. So as you may have guessed it, finding somewhere to park here isn’t easy. Barcelona’s on-street parking either falls into a blue or a green zone. But the problem is, the rules change depending on whether you’re a city resident or a visitor, and of course, depending on which zone you’re parked in.

In the heart of Barcelona’s heart

This charming square is located in the former Roman city called Barcino. But now the square gets its name from the Church. You’ll also be able to find the Government of Catalonia and Barcelona’s city hall, so if you’re into your politics, they’re definitely worth a visit.

The square is also the heart of the Feste Santa Eulalia, during this festival, you will see local resident build impressively high human towers, as well as a beautiful light show, which is projected onto the government buildings. 

This is a lively square, with a great vibes. You can also explore the rest of the city, we’re thinking Sagrada Familia and Las Ramblas by public transport - the metro Jaime I, which serves line 4.
