Parking in World Trade Center, Barcelona

The World Trade Center Barcelona is perhaps Barcelona’s most famous business parks, although it’s not just all work here - the complex boasts restaurants, the 5 star Grand Marina Hotel as well as a gym, and other amenities all in front of the Mediterranean. 

It’s location on the Calle Muelle de Barcelona, however, doesn’t make it the easiest place to get to by car, located right on the sea front in central Barcelona, this area is extremely busy, made so by tourists and workers alike. Barelona isn’t the easiest place to park in the world, due its lack of public parking spaces, and those that are available fall into one of two categories; the blue zone and the green zone. In the blue zone, you can only park for 4 hours, and in the green zone you can park for a measly 2 hours, before you have to move on - and let’s not forget they’re not free!

Opened in 1999 this futuristic complex, comprises of 4 different buildings strategically designed to form a circle. This is the work of famed American architect Henry N. Cobb. It’s location in Port Vell, one of the most charming Ports in the city, is unbeatable, because it also means that it’s just 15 minutes walk from the city centre meaning that the impressive Sagrada Familia is just a stroll away!
