Find a car park close to Bordeaux’s Matmut Atlantique stadium with ease, this summer, for Euro 2016.

There are two options available to you for Euro 2016 which involve reserving your parking space for a match at Stadium Municipal or following the match from the Fan Zone located in Quinconces square. OPTION 1: Car parks close to Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux


Will you be attending a Euro 2016 match in Bordeaux’s Nouveau Stade? Are you still yet to sort out your parking needs even though you have already taken care of your accommodation?

As you may already have guessed, Euro 2016 will attract a large number of supporters to Bordeaux, several of whom will be arriving by car. Hence it is advisable to book your parking space right away in order to ensure that you have a space to park your car in, so as to be able to get to Matmut Atlantique stadium.

Parclick recommends four car parks located on tram C’s route. To reach Bordeaux’s Nouveau Stade and attend Euro 2016 matches, all you have to do is travel towards Parc des Expositions and alight at the final stop (Parc des Expositions stop):

  • Bourse Jean-Jaurès car park is located just beside Place de la Bourse stop. From there you will be able to get to Stade Matmut Atlantique in about 20 minutes;
  • Tourny car park is just a 3 minute walk away from Quinconces stop. Getting to Bordeaux’s Nouveau Stade also takes 20 minutes;
  • Salinières car park is located close to Salinières quay, between Porte de Bourgogne and Saint-Michel stops along route C. We recommend alighting at Porte de Bourgogne, located immediately after Bir Hakeim square which is the starting point of Pont de Pierre;
  • André Meunier car park is just a few minutes away from Tauzia stop. Getting to Bordeaux’s Nouveau Stade from this car park should take about 30 minutes.


OPTION 2: Parking close to the Quinconces Fan Zone


Bordeaux’s Euro 2016 Fan Zone will be set up at Quinconces square and will have a capacity of 60 000!

Quinconces massive Fan Zone will be equipped with a giant screen which will broadcast every match which will be taking place during the tournament and the zone will also be the venue of 91 activities, selected by the mayor of Bordeaux. It will be an opportunity to participate in the great festival of Euro 2016 even if you don’t have a ticket to attend the matches!

If you want to go to Bordeaux’s Fan Zone to attend a broadcast of a Euro 2016 match or a concert, we strongly recommend booking your parking space in advance!

In order to ensure you save time (and money), we have selected several cheap car parks close to Bordeaux’s Quinconces square, for you. Book your parking space right away in Tourny and Bourse – Jean Jaurès car parks to be able to get to the Quinconces Fan Zone in 5 minutes.

Salinières and André Meunier car parks are also really convenient for parking your car in a safe, secluded environment. You will also be able to get to Quinconces square from both carparks in a few minutes using tram C.


Matmut Atlantique stadium

Bordeaux’s Matmut Atlantique stadium or Bordeaux’s New Stadium is a multifunctional stadium located in the Bordeaux-Lac quarter. With a capacity of over 42 000 places, Matmut Atlantique stadum is the 6th largest in France.

In spite of the free parking provided by Bordeaux’s Parc des Expositions close by, obtaining a parking space at Bordeaux’s New Stadium can still be difficult due to the fact that there are actually just a few parking spaces for all the spectators.

It is for that reason that we recommend parking in a car park close to line C of Bordeaux’s tram line which will make it possible to reach Bordeaux’s New Stadium within just a few minutes.



Bordeaux’s Matmut Atlantique stadium has been selected to host 5 matches during Euro 2016.

It will therefore host four group stage matches (Wales/Slovakia, Austria/Hungary, Belgium/Ireland and Croatia/Spain) as well as a quarter final during Euro 2016. Do not miss this event!

A list of the matches which will be taking place in Matmut Atlantique stadium has been provided below:

  • 11th June 2016: Wales vs Slovakia – group stages;
  • 14th June 2016: Austria vs Hungary – group stages;
  • 18th June 2016: Belgium vs Ireland – group stages;
  • 21st June 2016: Croatia vs Spain – group stages;
  • 2nd July 2016: A quarter final.
