Where to park in Salamanca

Luxury is a something that never gets old. Although it seems like a lie, each day more millionaires buy ultra-exclusive and singular products. Come on! We are talking about very expensive pieces that common mortals do not have access to, but these products do exist and are in the best stores of the world. This opulence is what you will find in the Salamanca neighborhood, among many other things, of course.

The Marqúes of Salamanca named this emblematic madrileño neighborhood. During the 19th century, he wanted to promote the development of the district, hoping to create one of the most iconic places on the capital in which each square mile is loaded with luxury and exclusivity.

Do you want to buy a posh product? Just go to the Calle Serrano, also known as the Golden Mile. If your wallet is well endowed with euros, you can buy a luxurious lodging in this street, paying for the most expensive square feet in all of Spain. That´s extravagance!

But don´t think that the Salamanca area is only destined for the rich of the world because everyone has a place here. There are many leisure venues and restaurants that you could visit if you travel around this zone. Also, if you love architecture, you can observe the most unlikely contrasts in the city. Buildings from the 19th century and super vanguard and contemporary constructions make up the architectural mix that you will see in the neighborhood.

If you stay in the Salamanca area, right in the center of Madrid, we recommend you park before you arrive with Parclick. This way, you will avoid aimlessly circling in search of an available parking spot. The Regulated Parking Service (SER), also called the blue and green zones, is that which commands the center of the city. Here, you can only park your car (if you find a space, of course) for a limited time and at an expensive price.

But, don´t worry! Parclick has thought of everything and offers you a great collection of monitored parking decks throughout the entire neighborhood. Without a doubt, it is the best option to park your car with total security and ease. Now you can enjoy the extravagant Golden Mile!

The Golden Mile of Madrid

The Salamanca neighborhood is in the direct center of the capital – an unbeatable place for a unique district. The three principle streets (Serrano, Velázquez and Goya) form maze in which an infinite number of roads cross to present businesses in their maximum expression. The Retiro and Paseo de la Castellana mark the main boundaries of this section.

If you like exclusive finds, you have to visit the Calle Serrano. This wide road consists of the best brands in the world. Prepare yourself for a unique experience when the doorman of one of these shops opens the door and invites you to pass through to its luxurious interior.

The Salamanca neighborhood cannot be seen in four hours (the maximum time limit for cars in the blue zone), which is why we recommend that you park your vehicle with Parclick. The reservation can be done online in a question of minutes. You also have the option of booking parking near your lodging and moving throughout Madrid in public transportation
