Where to park in San Marco
The San Marco district has been the true heart of the historic centre of Venice, ever since the lagoon city was founded. Of course, you must visit it during your trip to Venice, as in San Marco you can stroll through the narrow streets of the district, admiring the beautiful view of the Grand Canal and the San Marco Basin.
San Marco also includes the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, and borders the Cannaregio and Castello districts. It then connects to the San Polo district via the Ponte di Rialto bridge, and to the Dorsoduro district via the Ponte dell'Accademia bridge.
