Parking in Teatre del Raval

The Teatre del Raval was founded in 1935 and is part of the parish church of Nostra Senyora del Carme. It is located on Carrer Sant Antoni Abad, which is in the El Raval neighbourhood of Barcelona.

For parking in the neighbourhood of El Raval, you need be relaxed and patient. This theatre is located very close to one of Barcelona’s very busy streets, Las Ramblas (10-minute walk) which does not make parking any easier.  If it’s your lucky day, you might find a parking space in the green (priority for resident’s vehicles) or blue zones (very limited parking time). Furthermore, keep in mind that these places are outdoor and do not have any security which will only make you stress when instead, you should be discovering all the wonders of this amazing city!

The goal of this theatre is to perform plays created by well-known authors, as well as to give the opportunity to authors who are just beginning. What they like is to perform plays that convey a clear message, by offering risky proposals with overall great artistic quality. The idea is to combine the works of these authors: tradition with innovation.

In el Raval you will be able to attend musicals, concerts, monologues... Clearly, spending an afternoon can only be the right plan. Something we love is that they can bring culture to any individual, since one of their works was adapted to sign language, subtitled and with audio description.

After your show, you can enjoy taking a stroll in the streets of Barcelona while having a drink in one of the many terraces that surround it. If we can recommend anything, it’s that you should have a drink at the JAZZSí Club and have a good time listening to live musicians: flamenco, rock, jazz and Cuban rhythms.
