If you need to find yourself a bit of parking near the centre of Barcelona and some of its most important sights, such as the Palau de Congressos, then this could be the place for you. The Rius i Taulet car park is a great place to start off your trip in this wonderful city. The BSM Rius i Taulet Car Park is open 24 hours a day, so no need to worry about arriving to find the door shut in your face! You are surrounded! By hotspots that is. When you exit the car park the entrance to the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc will be staring you right in the face. It is the venue for a huge variety of trade shows, bringing together the global business community with around 500 events a year within their fairs! Turning right out of the car park you will be met with a glorious sight with the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc in the foreground, looking up towards the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) which sits at the top of the hill in the majestic Palau Nacional and contains a rich collection of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Modern art. Just next door is the Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia, which explores the evolution of the Iberian population from prehistoric times all the way through to the Middle Ages. To the left is the Plaça Espanya where you will find the Arenas de Barcelona, what used to be the bull-fighting ring but, seeing as this is now banned in Catalonia, it is host to a huge shopping centre, equipped to fill all your retail needs!
