Car park in Porta Venezia, close to downtown Milan. The
Machiavelli car park, a few meters from the Bastioni de Porta Venezia, is located in a prime area of Milan, which is just 10 minutes walking from various attractions, including the Indro Montanelli Public Gardens; where inside you’ll find the Milan Planetarium, Dugnani Palace and the Natural History Museum of Milan; Porta Venezia; Republic Plaza; the famous Corso Buenos Aires and the Oftálmico Fatebenefratelli Hospital. In less than 15 minutes walking from the Machiavelli car park, you can get to the famous fashion district, with the Via Montenapoleone, Via Senato, Via Spiga, Corso Venezia and the Piazza San Babila. Leaving your car in the Machiavelli car park, you’ll arrive in the heart of the city within a half hour walk, where you’ll enjoy the Milan Duomo, Theater alla Scala, Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, Via Torino, Royal Palace and the Museo del Novecento.
However, if you prefer, you can use metro red line (M1), whose Porta Venezia stop will take you directly to the Plaza del Duomo and Sforzesco Castle, as well as the Piazza Cordusio and the Milan Cadorna Station. Only 4 minutes walking from the
Machiavelli car park, you’ll also find the Repubblica stop on metro yellow line (M3), which takes you to the city center, as well as the Porta Romana and the Milan Central Station. Both the Repubblica and Porta Venezia stops are train stations, with commuter lines S1, S2, S5, S6 and S13. Although it’s very close to downtown Milan, the Machiavelli car park is NOT considered within Area C, which means that parking in Porta Venezia is much easier.
The Machiavelli car park is open 24 hours and is constantly video monitored, as well as offering electric vehicle recharging. It’s very easy to find if you’re arriving by car from the Viale Tunisia, Bastioni di Porta Venezia, Porta Nuova or the Viale Vittorio Veneto.
