Where to park in Turin

Where to park your car in Turin city centre?

Now, let's help you find your parking space in Turin.

If you like to rely on luck and decide on the spot, there are plenty of paid parking spaces in the city, covering a vast area called the 'blue zone'. But let's face it, who wants to waste time in traffic and go blind when you can book a parking space and arrive knowing where you are going?

If you want to reserve a parking space in the centre of Turin, our advice is to look for a parking space at the Autopalazzo Parking Garage. This is a large covered and supervised multi-storey car park in the heart of the city, a short walk from the Egyptian Museum and about 10 minutes' walk from the Mole Antonelliana, Piazza Castello and the Royal Palace of Turin.

It is perfect for those who want to spend a weekend in the city centre. The only drawback is that it is located in the Central ZTL, where you cannot circulate from 7.30 am to 10.30 am on weekdays. We therefore advise you to plan your arrival in advance.

Low-cost parking in Turin Lingotto Fiere

If you are in Turin for a trade fair, exhibition or event and would like to park close to Lingotto Fiere, we recommend the Parcheggio Fiera di Torino. With us, you can easily reserve a cheap parking space in sector D (covered) and sector E (uncovered).

These car parks are extremely easy to reach even if it is your first time in Turin. Moreover, they are under video surveillance and open 24 hours a day, all year round. Finally, they are a short walk from the Lingotto metro station, so you can easily get to the centre knowing that you have parked in a safe place.

How much does daily parking cost in Turin?

Turin's blue zone is divided into 4 zones, each with different rates.

The most expensive zone is called the Central ZTL zone, and is roughly between Corso Regina Margherita, Corso San Maurizio, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and the streets east of Piazza Statuto. There, parking costs €2.50 per hour, or €17 per day.

This is followed by:

  • the ordinary rate zone, where parking costs €1.50/hour or €10/day;
  • the reduced-rate zone, where parking costs €1.30/h or €9 per day;
  • and finally, the smart-fare zone, which has rates of €1/h or €7 per day.

As you can see, these are all fairly standard rates for a city the size of Turin.

But maybe you would like to leave your car in a covered and video-monitored place. And maybe you would also like to know in advance where to go, without wasting time looking for a place on the spot.

In that case, don't worry: you don't necessarily have to spend a lot more.

For example, with us you can book a day pass at the Lingotto Fiere car park for € 14.90. And if you want parking close to the airport, our rates start at €8 per day.

There are options for all budgets, and for every need!

When don't you pay the blue zone in Turin?

In Turin, paid parking on the blue lines is in force from 8.00 am to 7.30 pm, Monday to Saturday. Exceptions are the car parks in Piazza Carlo Felice, Piazza Lagrange, and Piazza Paleocapa, where the hours are extended until midnight all year round.

So, if you were wondering when you don't have to pay for parking in Turin, the answer is: on Sundays and at night on the other days of the week.

An exception is made for carers of disabled people without a car or driving licence, who can park for free in the entire blue zone without time restrictions (by showing the appropriate badge).

You now have all the information you need to plan your trip in advance. Plan your journey well, and book a parking space in the place that suits you best!

More information

Turin, the capital of Piedmont, is a city of great importance, being the third largest city in Italy in terms of economy and the fourth largest in terms of the number of inhabitants, as well as being one of the main cultural, scientific, artistic and university centres in the whole country.

Historically, Turin has also played an important role in the history of Italy, being named the first capital of the Italian state in the years immediately following unification and until 1865.

Wide tree-lined boulevards are a characteristic feature of Turin, whose urban layout unlike most Italian cities is chequered, a fact that greatly facilitates the orientation and circulation of public and private transport.

Being a very large city, Turin has a capillary transport network managed by GTT, to say the least, with numerous buses and several trams, whose service starts at 5 a.m. and continues until midnight, making it possible to reach every corner of the city. With the same ticket, you can also use Turin's metro line, consisting of 21 stations, which passes through all the city's railway stations such as Lingotto, Porta Nuova Station and Porta Susa Station and leads to the city centre.

In Turin, there are also several restricted traffic zones active every day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the so-called blue zones for paid parking only. In addition, due to the high pollution rates that are reached at certain times of the year, circulation is prohibited for all Euro 0 vehicles, and the municipality of Turin itself invites people to reduce car use and make greater use of public transport. For all these reasons, it is advisable to park your car once you arrive in the city for a visit, and Parclick helps you find a car park in Turin that suits you, and at the best price! So you don't have to worry about parking and limited traffic zones!

Once you have parked your car, you can enjoy the many places of interest and entertainment that Turin has to offer.

First of all, a visit to the Duomo di Torino, the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, in which the Holy Shroud is kept and which forms an interesting complex with the bell tower and the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, is a must. In addition, in Turin, one cannot fail to visit the Mole Antonelliana, symbol of the city and current home of the National Museum of Cinema, the Royal Palace, which is the most important of the Savoy residences in Piedmont, Palazzo Madama, the famous Egyptian Museum adjacent to the Galleria Sabauda, and the Valentino Park, inside which one can visit the Valentino Castle.

Turin also has a great tradition of occultism and magic and many legends claim that the city's underground is criss-crossed by a dense network of secret tunnels used by the Savoy family to move around without being noticed.

Turin is therefore a multifaceted city, entirely to be discovered! And once you have booked your parking space with Parclick you will have plenty of time to experience it!
