The best option for getting around the area is to park in a car park since it is a really busy part of the city, and the whole area belongs to the regulated (payed) parking area. The car park is 150m away from the Egyptian Museum, Casa Batlló is practically in front also, and it is a couple of blocks away from Casa Milá. In 10 minutes' walk we can find the Palau de la Música, and in 15 minutes we can get to the historic centre of Barcelona via public transport.
