Garage del Bargello Car park

This parking is located within Florence's ZTL, which is active year-round on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
In addition, from April to late October, the summer night ZTL is also active, running from 8:00 PM on Thursday to 11:00 PM on Friday, from 11:00 PM on Friday to 3:00 AM on Saturday, and from 11:00 PM on Saturday to 3:00 AM on Sunday. The ZTL fee is 1€ per entry, paid directly at the parking lot.

Petrol Euro 1 and diesel Euro 2 vehicles CANNOT access this parking as it is located within the ZTL.

The CAR rates only apply to small- and medium-sized vehicles (maximum length 3.9m). For vehicles like SUVs and minivans, you will have to reserve with the VAN rates (minimum length 4m and maximum 5m).

In case the car park has no more free spots, it is likely that they take your vehicle to a close parking area, 4 km away from the car park. When you wish to have your vehicle back, you just have to call the car park 60 min before and they will bring it back so you can take it again.

Car park in the historic center of Florence, on the Via Ghibellina and thus easily accessible from State Highway SS67. The Garage del Bargello car park is located a few meters from the Verdi Theater, Bargello Museum and the Casa Buonarroti Museum, near the Via Ghibellina. Located in the historic center of Florence, the Garage del Bargello car park is a great option for parking close to the Basilica of Santa Croce, only 300 meters away, also close to the Dante Alighieri Monument, the Pazzi Chapel and the National Library of Florence.
But that’s not all, just 300 meters from the Garage del Bargello car park, you’ll find the Casa de Dante Museum, Piazza della Signoria, Vecchio Palace, Loggia dei Lanzi and the Pazzi Palace. Walking a little further, but always less than 10 minutes from the Garage del Bargello car park, you’ll find other main attractions of Florence, including the prestigious Uffizi Gallery, Museo Galileo, Santo Stefano al Ponte, the famous Ponte Vecchio, Strozzi Palace and the Plaza della República.
Parking at the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, also known as the Florence Duomo, famous around the world for the Brunelleschi Dome, is no longer a problem thanks to the Garage del Bargello car park, which is found only 10 minutes away by foot. Also, you can visit the Campanile de Giotto, the Baptisterio de San Giovanni and the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. The Garage del Bargello car park is very convenient if you’re looking to park close to the Hospital Santa Maria Nuova, only a 10-minute walk away, or if you want to stroll along the shores of the Arno River, crossing the Lungarno delle Grazie.
Around the Garage del Bargello car park, just next to the Bargello Museum, is the C2 bus stop, which goes to the center and that you can use to get to the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella and the Florence Santa Maria Novella Station, which is the main train station of the city. The Garage del Bargello car park provides 24-hour video surveillance, an electric vehicle charger and car washing. Upon arriving at the car park you will be required to pay 1euro to car park staff in order to access the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone).If you pass underneath one of the detection cameras more than once during the operating hours of the ZTL you will be required to pay 1euro to the car park staff each time you do so. The car park staff will take responsibility for paying for your access to the ZTL.
