Porto is the Portuguese city of colours, and Lisbon is its capital. It is the second most important city in Portugal after Lisbon, a city with which it has maintained a healthy rivalry over the years. Today it remains one of the emblems of the Portuguese country, specifically of its extraordinary wines. But Porto is much more: art, integration with the landscape, colourful architecture, and, above all, its Douro River. It still retains that melancholic and decadent touch that dazzles many, it catches you and you practically feel obliged to return. We know how complicated it can be to park in Porto, on those days when you don't have enough time, when you are short on time, it is sure to be more difficult than expected to find a well-located parking space, for this we offer you a great solution with a tremendous parking lot in the center; the Timbre Heroísmo parking adapts to your needs and takes a great weight off your shoulders.
This fantastic garage couldn't be better located, specifically at Rua do Heroísmo 235, 4300-259 Porto, Portugal (unbeatable :)) it has unbeatable rates that fit any budget, and it's available to you 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Yes, you read that right. No matter what time you want to leave or arrive, you'll always be able to count on Parking Timbre Heroísmo and thus be able to make the most of your stay in this beautiful city.
A good idea to start exploring Porto is to go to the Batalha district, in the upper part of the city. There you'll find the impressive Sé Cathedral, a temple whose construction took so long that it was gathering various styles that appeared throughout such a long period. Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque - the Sé is a whole harvest of the best of Porto's art! Don't fall too in love with the tile decoration.
Continuing with the monumental and artistic heritage of the city. In this field we cannot miss the imposing city walls, an incomparable vestige and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You can enjoy two types of walls, the old one of Roman origin, called Cerca Velga and the more modern style called Cerca Nova. After the growth of the city, the walls were progressively demolished, although today some sections are preserved. The best preserved is known as Trecho dos Guindáis.
The Ribera del Duero, also known for being a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and no wonder given the spectacular cultural landscape it offers us. You can admire the unmistakable and most popular panoramic view of the city, with its charming little colorful houses. You cannot miss watching the sunset on the river, an unforgettable experience. Also, if you can't wait to sail the river, you can do so by booking a cruise aboard one of the rabeiros.
Anyway, we are not going to continue telling you what awaits you in Porto. Make sure you have everything in your suitcase, reserve your parking space and enjoy your trip to the fullest.
