About the car park
Car park in Venice, located a few meters from the historic centre. The Autorimessa Comunale AVM - Porto di Venezia car park is one of the best options for parking in the centre of Venice. In fact, it's located in the Piazzale Roma, the last area of the city where you can drive in your car and, therefore, the perfect option for parking in the historic center. The Autorimessa Comunale AVM - Porto di Venezia car park is made up of 6 levels, with 10 lots and 2 terraces, for a total of 2182 parking spots and 180 motorcycle spots, making it the largest car park in the Piazzale Roma. The Autorimessa Comunale AVM - Porto di Venezia car park has both indoor and outdoor parking spaces used depending on availability. If all the floors of the car park for covered spaces are occupied, your vehicle will be taken to the upper terraces (which apparently, have postcard views). Some of the floors of the car park are reserved for those who hold monthly tickets, but if there is space available, you will be able to park in a covered space without a problem. In any case, if you come during low season, there is probably room in the covered area of the car park. The Autorimessa Comunale AVM - Porto di Venezia car park is open 24 hours a day, all year round and is accessible from the Rio Terá S. Andrea; also, it's very close to the centre and to Venice's Santa Lucía train station. The Autorimessa Comunale AVM - Porto di Venezia car park is perfect for those who want to park near the Port of Venice, where many ferries depart for destinations such as Greece or Croatia; and many cruise ships, from the most prestigious companies. If you park at the Autorimessa Comunale AVM - Porto di Venezia car park, you'll have the passenger terminal just a 10-minute walk from the Piazzale Roma, though it's also possible to get there in a few minutes with the People Mover service, which links the Piazzale Roma with the Maritime Station, until Tronchetto Island. Nothing is easier if you're planning a cruise from the Venice Port and still don't know where to park in Venice. If you decide to park in Venice at the Autorimessa Comunale AVM car park, remember that the minimum rate is for one day, so even if you go directly to the car park for a few hours, you'll have to pay the full day's rate.Read less

Toller Blick auf Venedig von der 10ten Etage. Im Navi am besten den Namen des Parkhauses eingeben. Mein Navi hatte Probleme mit der Strasse.Read less
