When you wish to have your vehicle back, you just have to call the car park 60 min before and they will bring it back so you can take it again. The Garage City Florence car park is on the Via Borgo Pinti, in the centre of Florence. But thanks to its vicinity to the Viale Giacomo Matteotti (which forms part of the bypass), it's easy to find it arriving by car. The car park is in Florence's limited traffic zone, but don't panic! When you arrive to the car park, just pay the car park staff €1, for your car's authorisation to be in the central zone. If you are in Florence to visit the historic centre, from this car park you will be able to go through the beautifully Florentine neighbourhood of Sant'Ambrogio and in just 10 minutes arrive at the Santa Croce Basilica. After, from the Santa Croce Basilica, we recommend that you go towards the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, which is 10 minutes away, to take a couple of photos of the incredible Duomo di Firenze. The Garage City Florence car park is monitored and it's just next to the Gherardesca Gardens, where you'll be able to relax after spending your day wandering through the city centre's streets. Another advantage of this car park (although this does depend on your point of view) is that it's just 500 metres from the University of Florence, so you can park here then go to your exam or class.
