If you are looking for a car park in the centre of Florence, we have found you the perfect match. It is on Via Ricasoli, near the historic Palazzo Pucci, inside the ZTL (limited traffic zone). No need to worry though, the car park itself manages the entrance into this zone and it only costs €1 each time you want to use your car during your stay. Please remember that you can only get to the Via Ricasoli, if you come from the Via de' Pucci.
The centre of Florence's streets can be difficult to drive down using a car, especially if you don't know the city too well. But don't worry, you can get to the Park2Go car park from the Florence Ring Road, taking Via dell'Agnolo and until you're in the ZTL zone. Further on, turn right into Via Verdi and then turn left towards Via Bufalini. Then go straight ahead until you reach the junction with Via Ricasoli;)
We know Florence is on your list and this car park is right next to the Duomo, Campanile di Giotto, Battistero di San Giovanni and the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.
Leaving your car with Park2Go Duomo is the perfect way to start, while you continue your way on foot and wind your way through the streets of this beautiful city, dropping in on all the sites as you go. Some places that might spark your interest are: the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the Basilica di San Lorenzo with its Biblioteca Laurentina and Cappella dei Principi, the Basilica di Santa Maria Novella or the Galleria dell'Academia, where Michael Angelo's David stands tall. You're spoilt for choice really and it's all so close! If it's a bit of shopping you're after, the areas around the Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza della Signoria are where you will find all your favourite shops like Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Stella McCartney (to name a few!), as well as some smaller Italian brands and vintage shops if you want to get something your friends won't have seen before ;)
