This car park is located outside the ZTL. You will need to leave your keys in this car park. If you're looking for parking in Rome and the Vatican City is on your list of things to visit, Parking Risorgimento is the right solution for you! Parking Risorgimento is a covered and guarded car park in Rome, just 10 minutes' walk from the famous St Peter's Square. It enjoys a strategic position within the Prati district, since it's a car park located outside the ZTL of Rome. To get to Parking Risorgimento, you will need to pass through Piazza Risorgimento, and, once you have passed the square, take Via Vespasiano on the right: you will find the entrance to the car park on your left at number 22/B. Go down the ramp and you will find the car park staff ready to welcome you. Once you have parked your car in Parking Risorgimento, you can enjoy your visit to Rome without any worries, as the car park has a 24-hour video surveillance system, so your car will be safe during your stay. This is how you can start your visit to Rome: our advice is to buy tickets in advance for all the points of interest, as there are always long queues to get in and the number of visitors is limited. Among the places to see, you cannot miss the majestic St. Peter's Basilica with its famous dome, or better known as "er Cupolone", a reference point for all tourists and inhabitants of Rome, since it is visible from every high point of the city centre of Rome. The location of Parking Risorgimento will also allow you to easily reach the Vatican Museums, one of the most beautiful museum complexes in the world, which are only 350 metres away! To reach them, exit on Via Germanico and follow Viale Vaticano. Speaking of unmissable things to see: obviously the famous Sistine Chapel, one of the greatest wonders of the artistic world, where you can admire the details and colours of Michelangelo's Last Judgement. You can then continue your visit by strolling through the botanical and architectural uniqueness of the Vatican Gardens. What's more, Castel Sant'Angelo, or Hadrian's Mausoleum, is also just a 15-minute walk from Parking Risorgimento, and, if you love long walks, you can cross the romantic Sant'Angelo Bridge over the Tiber to reach the historic centre of Rome and lose yourself in its art-filled streets. On the contrary, if you don't like long walks, it's not a problem! Parking Risorgimento, in fact, is located just 4 minutes walk from the metro station Ottaviano, line A of Rome: you can easily move by metro and reach famous artistic, historical and tourist places, such as Colosseum, Piazza del Popolo, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Trinità dei Monti, Piazza Navona, Altare della Patria and many other points of interest of the city of Rome! In addition, this car park in Rome is open every day except Sunday, but don't worry: if you want to pick up your car on Sunday (when the car park is closed), you can do it until 12:00 noon, at no additional cost. Just book until Saturday at closing time and on Sunday, half an hour before departure, you will need to call the number provided in the booking voucher to be able to leave the car park. What's more, Parking Risorgimento in Rome, is convenient if you travel with an LPG vehicle: although it is an indoor parking, LPG vehicles are also allowed. Not bad, right?
