How to get to the Alhambra car park?

If you arrive at the Alhambra on foot, you can access it from any of its entrances from Plaza Nueva via the Cuesta de Gomérez where you can enjoy a beautiful, albeit long, walk. If you prefer to go by public transport, you can get there from the Centre with the C30 bus line. 
If you already have your Parclick reservation and you are going to arrive with your car, this is of interest to you. Access is via the Ronda Sur (A-395), as it is not possible to get there by private car from the centre. At the Serrallo tunnel, take exit 5A and go up Avda. de Santa María de la Alhambra and then Camino Viejo del Cementerio until you see the signs for the Alhambra Granada car park or Complejo Alhambra car park.

The castle, palace or even city of La Alhambra is one of the most visited places in Spain, second only to the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Its name comes from an Arabic word meaning "red castle" (al-Qal'a al-hamra), because of the shade of its towers and it is located in Granada in front of the Albaicín district.

It is situated on the Sabika hill because it was intended at the time to dominate the area, and it has come down to us intact and its construction dates back to the 9th century. It is made up of a large number of areas including the Alcazaba (the oldest part and from where the whole thing moved), the Nasrid palaces (where the rich people lived), the Palace of Charles V (you'll never guess who lived here) and the Convent of San Francisco (Parador where you can now stay and feel like a Nasrid soldier passing through the capital of Al-Andalus).
