Remember! This is just the meeting point where the driver will collect your vehicle :)

This museum’s extensive collection of art, sculpture, artefacts and more really sets it apart as one of the finest in the world. The building is a national treasure in itself but it’s the contents, portraying many different aspects from more than 800 years worth of Dutch and world history, that really take it to the next level! With paintings from all the Dutch greats like Vermeer, Frans Hals and Rembrandt, a collection of archaeological items, Asian art and pieces from the extremely successful Dutch maritime history, you are going to be fascinated. They are always searching for new excitements and adding them to the team, as well as hosting some major exhibitions.
Taking a break from the wonders inside, you can relax in the calm of their incredibly beautiful garden, full of impressive sculptures and refreshing greenery. It is free to enter and it also hosts its own exhibitions for various famed sculptors.
If you’re hungry for more museums, then you’re in the right place. The Rijksmuseum is part of the Museumplein, a large square surrounded by museums of all shapes and sizes! Have a look round the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk and the Diamond Museum, each with their own individual attractions and style. If you need to rest your legs there is a large grassy area in the middle of the square, great for quick pit-stop, a nice picnic or a lengthy afternoon relaxation session. Some other good places in the area are the Concertgebouw, P.C. Hoofstraat, one of the best shopping streets in the capital and Gassan Diamonds, for a truly dazzling experience ;)
If you’re coming to the area, book your parking in advance so you can get on with the exciting stuff!
