What to see in Toulouse?

The Capitol:

This is one of the main buildings in Toulouse. It has been, since its construction, one of the important points of the French power. It now houses several reception rooms, an opera house and the town hall. It is a place very rich in culture. You can learn about the history of the city of Toulouse by admiring its many painted ceilings and walls. As you climb the stairs, you can admire works by Paul Gervais, sculpted busts of Toulouse personalities and ten paintings by Henri Martin. The Indigo Capitole car park will allow you to get there in an instant. Alternatively, the Indigo Victor Hugo car park is also nearby.

The Basilica of Saint-Sernin:

It is the largest Romanesque church in France. Built between the 11th and 14th century, it has a 21 metre high nave and several medieval frescoes that tell its story. With its red brick façade, it blends perfectly into the Toulouse landscape. The Basilica of Saint-Sernin is a crossroads on one of the paths leading to Santiago de Compostela and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

To get there easily, you can park your car in the Indigo Arnaud Bernard car park, the Indigo Jean Jaurès car park or the Indigo Victor Hugo car park.

The convent of the Jacobins:

The Jacobin convent, which dates back to medieval times, can be distinguished from other buildings of its time by its great lighting. This convent is made of brick but was painted to give a marble feel. The optical illusion it displays is impressive. In addition, its ceiling has the peculiarity of being shaped like a palm tree and has a double nave. The Jacobin convent of Toulouse offers several animations and guided tours.

The Indigo Toulouse Capitole car park is the ideal car park in Toulouse to get there without any problem.

In addition, Toulouse is home to many renowned museums, such as the Slaughterhouse (“les abattoirs), which has been awarded the seal of the Museums of France. It is easily accessible from the Indigo Saint-Cyprien car park.

Other sights:

Toulouse also has several waterways such as the Canal du Midi, the Canal de Brienne and the Canal Latéral à la Garonne. The Canal du Midi connects Toulouse to the Mediterranean Sea and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is very pleasant to walk along the Garonne. From the Pont Neuf, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Toulouse.

The Indigo Saint-Cyprien car park or the Indigo Toulouse Carmes car park is located near the Pont Neuf in Toulouse.
