The Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux is a classical-style opera house, inaugurated in 1780. Listed as a historical monument, it is now the headquarters of the Bordeaux National Opera, a cultural institution in Bordeaux. The Grand Théâtre is located on the Place de la Comédie, between the Cours de l'Intendance, the Cours du Chapeau-Rouge and the Allées de Tourny. It is part of the tourist area of Bordeaux.
