Look for parking in The Jardin Public, Bordeaux

Situated in the north of Bordeaux, the Jardin Public is an ideal park to stroll with family or friends at the weekend. However, parking is difficult to find nearby. For this reason, Parclick recommends that you reserve a parking space.

The streets surrounding the Jardin Public belong to zone A or zone B for paid parking, and consequently on street parking is limited to 2 hours (with rates ranging from €1.80 to €2.50 per hour).

At Parclick, we particularly recommend the Tourny car park, which is located about 5 minutes from the Public Garden. From the Place Tourny, you just have to take the cours de Verdun which will bring you directly to the park.

The Bourse - Jean-Jaurès car park (located on the Quays) may also be of interest to you, being very convenient thanks to its proximity to the Quinconces tramway station. Thanks to tramway line C, you will arrive very quickly at the Jardin Public station.

The Jardin Public of Bordeaux

A park just a stone's throw from the town centre.

Located between the Cours de Verdun and Rue de la Course, the Jardin Public is one of the largest green spaces in Bordeaux, along with the Parc Bordelais and the Botanical Garden, and covers 14 hectares.

It is open every day from 7 am and, depending on the time of year, it closes between 6 pm and 9 pm. There are many attractions for children (including swings, a playground and merry-go-rounds), as well as a library and a Natural History Museum. You can also walk along its pond, and admire both its statues and its iron gates (classified as a Historic Monument).

Thanks to the car parks offered by Parclick, you can enjoy the public garden and the city centre of Bordeaux in peace and quiet. This park is very close to the Place des Quinconces and the CAPC - Bordeaux Museum of Contemporary Art.
