Park your car at ParkBee Weesperzijde if you feel like having a walk along the waterfront or dining out. This part of town used to be a popular place to relax and have fun, with jetties for boats, swimming pools and rowing clubs. And still today, the area around ParkBee Weesperzijde is the right place to enjoy boats, cosy restaurants and terraces in this quaint waterfront street. Although Weesperzijde is surrounded by modern offices south of the Schollenbrug, former working-class houses along the Van der Kunbuurt and high-rise buildings in the Omval and Amstelhoek districts, Weesperzijde offers monumental 19th-century houses and lots of greenery. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it was a street inhabited by the well-to-do class and there are still characteristic, charming buildings to visit. Want to park at Weesperzijde and then explore other parts of the city? ParkBee Weesperzijde is located pretty central. The cosy Pijp is still within walking distance and here you can visit the famous Albert Cuyp market, Heineken Experience or the Sarphatipark. The centre of Amsterdam is north of ParkBee Weesperzijde and is best reached by metro from the nearby Amstel Station. Although Weesperzijde, on which this car park is located, belongs to Amsterdam East, we also recommend taking public transport if you want to visit Oosterpark and the surrounding attractions. The Tropenmuseum, Artis, Rembrandthuis and the Hortus Botanicus of Amsterdam are all in the northeast and are also best reached by metro from Amstel Station, possibly followed by tram 14 if you don't feel like walking a bit. Tram 1, 7 and 19 also stop a few minutes away from ParkBee Weesperzijde. Line 7 is especially useful, as it takes you easily to Leidseplein and the Museum Quarter. Reserve a space and explore the city without parking concerns! Read less
