ParkBee Westcord Fashion Hotel is a car park in the Andreas Ensemble residential area in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. It is a new residential area consisting of nine residential buildings. The district was built between 2008 and 2011 on the site of the former Andreas Hospital. The buildings contain 500 flats, the Westcord Fashion Hotel of which this parking garage ParkBee Westcard Fashion Hotel is part, and things like a childcare centre, a café and some shops. Four courtyard gardens have been created on the roof of the underground garages, but unfortunately these are not publicly accessible. It is likely that if you park at ParkBee Westcord Fashion Hotel, you will have to be at the hotel or one of the residences. Still, you can get to other places relatively easily from here. You can walk to the Rembrandtpark, the World Fashion Centre and the Vondelpark. Train and metro station Lelylaan can also be reached on foot. Do you prefer public transport? Although the district itself does not have its own stop, two tram lines run around the Andreas Ensemble. Get on at Surinameplein. Tram line 1 stops at Lelylaan Station in one direction, and passes Leidseplein and the Rijksmuseum in the other before travelling further east. The Leidseplein area is a perfect place to go out, thanks to its many clubs, pop venues, pubs and cafés. And in the Museum Quarter, apart from the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, you can also visit the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the Moco Museum, for example. Line 17 also passes Lelylaan Station in one direction, but these trams travel in the other direction via Paleisstraat and Dam Square to Amsterdam Central Station. Bus 15 also passes Surinameplein.
