Top of the list would probably have to be the Amsterdam Museum which is just a couple of streets away from the hotel. To get to the Anne Frank House it will only take about ten minutes on foot, crossing over all the beautiful canals that form a ring around the very centre.
If you have some space left in your suitcase, you might want to convince your team to go to The Nine Streets for its exclusive boutiques. In the shopping department there are several more options. For example, have you thought about shopping for flowers at the famous flower market?

The closest tram station is Spui, from where you can take lines 1, 2 and 5 to the to carry you through the city and up to Central Station. Or you could go Dutch get around using pedal-power.
