HOW IT WORKS: This is a valet parking service. Drive to the drop-off point at the address indicated on your reservation and the valet company staff will take charge of your vehicle, taking it to be parked in their guarded car park in the outskirts of Amsterdam, where it will remain until you ask for it to be returned.
Remember! This is just the meeting point where the driver will collect your vehicle :)

So, whether you are just stopping by, around for a day or taking a nice long break, we are here to give you a nice easy start to your journey! Simply, drive straight to the synagogue and a professional driver will take care of your car, moving it to a safe and secure, guarded car park just outside the city centre. Parking in Amsterdam is easier than ever!
Having fled the Inquisition to escape being forced into Catholicism, a large number of Jews made their way to Amsterdam during the 15th century. This group grew and grew, so much so that the city even gained the nickname the ‘New Jerusalem’ and became so prosperous during the Dutch Golden Age that in the 17th century, they began to lay down markers to cement their place as a prestigious part of the community. The Portuguese Synagogue is an example of such a symbol.
Finished in 1675 it is not flashy, but is still an impressive structure and remains an active place of worship. As part of the package it also includes one of the oldest Jewish libraries in the world, the Ets Haim, containing many rare texts and filled with a whole wealth of knowledge!
If you are in town for business, not pleasure, the Pinnacle Tower is the synagogue’s next door neighbour, just the other side of the road. This modern spot has a great selection of luxurious office and event space, great for wooing any potential client ;) It is in the Jewish Quarter so there is plenty more to see on that front at the Jewish Historical Museum and the Monument to Jewish Resistance. You may also want to stop by Waterlooplein market or Stopera while you’re in town.
Let us take care of the parking for you and then all you have to do is enjoy yourself :)
