HOW IT WORKS: This is a valet parking service. Drive to the drop-off point at the address indicated on your reservation and the valet company staff will take charge of your vehicle, taking it to be parked in their guarded car park in the outskirts of Amsterdam, where it will remain until you ask for it to be returned.
Remember! This is just the meeting point where the driver will collect your vehicle :)
We realise finding parking near the Royal Theatre Carré can be difficult so, to help remove the stress of trying to find a parking space in this busy area, we recommend our valet service. You can opt for a 6-hour or 12-hour stay or, alternatively, a full day, for as many as 30 days. So, whether you are just dropping by, here for a day or treating yourself to a bit of a holiday , we are here to make the journey run all the more smoothly! Simply, drive straight to the Koninklijk Theater Carré (same place!) and the valet driver will take your car off to a safe and secure, guarded car park just outside the city centre. Parking in Amsterdam just got simple!
Overlooking the Amstel river, this beautiful Neo-Renaissance building was unveiled in 1887 as a circus theatre. Since then it has evolved to create an incredibly varied programme, involving all sorts of different shows from theatre to dance to opera and much more. It still dabbles in a bit of circus, putting on the spectacular World Christmas Circus, which takes place every year and includes some of the most jaw-dropping acts from all over the world!
The theatre has been modified over the years and contains a very versatile space adaptable to anything the busy programme can throw at it! It also contains two restaurants and numerous foyers so visitors can enjoy the full experience and discuss the magic they are about to or have just witnessed over a nice glass of wine or a meal.
To keep you out of trouble, we have a few more suggestions on what to do in the area. If you head north up the banks of the Amstel, you will come across the Hermitage Museum, the ‘Dutch branch’ of the Russian museum puts on a variety of exhibitions mainly focused around Russian history and culture. Some other places you may like to see are the Willet-Holthuysen, a private residence which offers a real blast from the past, the Tassenmuseum, the museum of bags and purses to you and I and the Het Muziektheater, home to the National Opera and Ballet. Not forgetting the more relaxing Magere Brug, for views down the Amstel or the buzzing square that is the Rembrandtplein.
Book your parking in advance and save yourself a whole world of unwanted complications!
