By bus

Several ACTV bus lines run around Mestre station. Look for lines 2, 4, 4L and 6: they take you to Piazzale Roma in under 20 minutes. Piazzale Roma is the last point in central Venice that vehicles can reach. From there, boats, water taxis and gondolas take over. Delfino Autorimessa and other car parks close to the station are convenient for line 4L.

By ferry

If you prefer to arrive by water, you can park at Terminal Fusina and take a ferry to the centre of Venice in about 25 minutes, or use Marive Parking+Ferry. It is a little slower than the train or the bus, but the views are worth it.
