San Antón Market

Markets are all the rage, we swear, they are great and not only allow you to make purchases with a good atmosphere but also you discover great fresh products at a very good price. What? You´ve never been to one? Well you´ve got to start at the Mercado de San Antón in Madrid, which is also a building that is worth getting to know.

The San Antón Market is in the Chueca neighbourhood and was opened in 1945, but the year it became cool was in 2007, when it was remodelled. You can find the best meat, fish, fruit and even sweet tartlets, to take home as a dessert which you can delight your guests with at a lunch or dinner.

In case you didn´t know Chueca is a neighbourhood which has narrow streets with a lot of traffic and where getting into the car can be an ordeal, but that's what we are for, to get you out of a tricky spot. In Parclick you can book a parking space in Madrid in advance in the place that best suits you and park before you have arrived, so you can go with peace of mind knowing you won´t have to go around a thousand times to find a free place.

The San Antón Market

Try a thousand flavours

If you're a foodie and you like eating out or taking home food to cook (which is why you watch Master Chef), the San Antón Market offers you a Gastronomic experience which is beyond interesting. Tapas, sushi, foie gras, cod, all types of cuisine and for dessert a modern coffee which is a piece of art along with a little cupcake with your name on it which you can post all over your social media with the most liked photos in history.

Of course, if you want to sit down and you're not a fan of standing at the bar and taking nibbles from here, there and everywhere on the third floor you have La cocina de San Antón (the San Antón Kitchen), a restaurant where you can please your palate with views of the Chueca neighbourhood. It makes my mouth water just thinking about so much food, maybe I’ll make a little visit to the office friedge…;P

Enjoy without worries and without time limits thanks to Parclick, since you will have a parking space in a guarded place and you can choose how long you want to enjoy the experience of this great place. Then come back satisfied for your car and if you dare you can even take a night tour of Chueca, a lively neighbourhood.
