Where to park in Les Corts

If you want to park in the Les Corts district, it´s best to book early. It is located in upper Barcelona, in the west of the city. It is a quiet area, where you can find the Pedralbes neighbourhood - one of the most unique in Barcelona and you can also find the Camp Nou football stadium there, where Barcelona FC plays.

Parking in Les Corts is more complicated now ever since the green zone of regulated parking expanded in 2009. It doesn´t cover the whole area, but it is one of the most crowded parts of the district - the University Zone of Pedralbes. As well as the traffic generated by the students, there is also the traffic of those who come to the area for work, since it is an area that includes numerous office skyscrapers. Also take into account that, since you have to pay for parking in most places, there are numerous vehicles that want to park on the street for free, and for quick access to the city centre, which is only fifteen minutes by metro. The situation gets even more tricky on the days that Barcelona FC plays at home, as the car parks fill up quickly.

Think ahead and book your parking at one of the many car parks in Les Corts that you can find in Parclick, see the map.

Universities, skyscrapers and gardens

Until the beginning of the last century, this was a very unpopulated area of the city, with land dedicated to agriculture, which belonged mainly to royalty. In 1897 it was annexed to Barcelona and began a process of urbanization, but it retained some of its rural roots, such as the many green areas that we can find like the Jardines de Pedralbes and El Parque Cervantes. The upper class of Barcelona settled in the exclusive and prominently residential neighbourhood of Pedralbes, and in the neighbourhood of Les Corts settled a prosperous middle class.

In this area there are numerous offices and the well known commercial centre of L'Illa. Go for a nice stroll though the neighbourhood of Les Corts, where you can find traits of the rural past of this area, such as the plazas of Can Róses, Comas and the Concòrdia, where there is an old 19th century pharmacy, between other old shops of a similar time that are still operating. Another neighbourhood is Sant Ramon-Maternitat. Most of the locals refer to it as "the Camp Nou district", since it´s where the Barça football stadium is.

There are many reasons to visit Les Corts, whether you´re travelling for business, or you are a football fan, or a student, or if you just want to enjoy its spectacular garden areas and to relax without leaving the city. For all of this, Parclick offers the parking in Barcelona that best suits your needs. Do not hesitate, visit Les Corts without stress, and reserve your parking space in Parclick.
