The Parc Floral 

Its origins date back to the 12th century as royal park and a hunting domain. In 1831 Louis XV built a series of paths and promenades, as well as pyramid, which you still can see today. The Parc Floral officially opened, in its current form in 1969, it covers 28 hectares and it’s just a stone’s throw away from the Château de Vincennes. 

Fancy a picnic, well this is the perfect place! Sit on the grass, surrounded with beautiful flowers whilst enjoying some wine and cheese or take advantage of the two restaurants in this park, serving up typical French park fair. 

Tulips? Amsterdam? Nope! If you’re lucky enough to be in this park in the spring, then you will get the privilege of seeing the beatiful, fr4aganttulips, of different seizes and colours - so if you like tulips, forget the Netherlands, the Parc floral is where you should be heading!
