Hospital near the Gare du Nord

No. 2 rue Ambroise Paré is where you’ll find the Lariboisière Hospital, which has been providing care since 1854. It’s right next to the Paris-Nord Train Station, which you can get to from the Rue de Maubeuge. Plus, the Fernand-Widal Hospital is nearby too, just on the other side of the Gare du Nord.

Within a fifteen-minute walk, you can also get to the Gare de l'Est and the famous Montmartre district and its beautiful basilica. The Françoise Sagan media library, the Bouffes du Nord theatre, the Luxor Cinema Palace, the Trianon and the Khalid ibn Al-Walid mosque are also nearby.

The hospital itself has been recognised as a historic monument since 1975, so it’s worth seeing! It’s part of the same hospital group as the Saint-Louis Hospital and the Fernand-Widal Hospital, and it’s managed by the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris ( AP-HP). The hospital also has speciality centres dedicated to neurosurgery, rheumatology and oncology.

Need to take the metro or the RER? No problem from Gare du Nord or the Barbès - Rochechouart metro station. So, no matter where you want to go in the French capital  it’ll be easy from here!
