The 8th arrondissement lies to the northwest of Paris and is further divided into four districts including the Champs-Élysées, Faubourg-du-Roule, Madeleine and l’Europe. The area is surrounded by the River Seine to the south, the Boulevard des Batignolles and the Boulevard de Courcelles to the north, the Avenue Marceau and the Avenue de Wagram to the west and Rue Saint-Florentin and Amsterdam to the east.  

 

When visiting the 8th arrondissement of Paris, why not take a stroll down the renowned Avenue des Champs-Élysées, which connects the Place de la Concorde to the Place Charles-de-Gaulle. In this area, you should also consider visiting the Petit Palais and the Grand Palais, the Saint-Lazare Train Station and the breathtaking Elysée Palace. Boulevard Haussmann is also worth a visit if you like high end shops. The Madeleine Church and Monceau Park which runs along the Boulevard de Courcelles are also notable landmarks in this area.
