The 17th arrondissement is one of the 20 arrondissements of Paris and is located in the north-west outskirts of inner Paris. The area is made up of 4 districts: Batignolles, Ternes, Épinettes and Plaine-de-Monceaux. This area of Paris is essentially residential; however, there are some notable landmarks such as the famous Palais des Congrès, opposite the Porte Maillot and the Max Rousié Stadium near the Boulevard Périphérique.
If you're passing through the 17th arrondissement, you can park near the Cité des Fleurs (in the Épinettes district), which is considered to be a village within the city. You can also park near the many embassies in this area (such as the Belgian embassy) or near the large number of sports facilities, including the Max Rousié Stadium and the Champerret Swimming Pool, which are both located along the Boulevard Périphérique. The 17th arrondissement of Paris is also home to the Martin Luther King Park, the Batignolles Cemetery and the Pont Cardinet Train Station, not forgetting the square in the Porte de Champerret right next to the Espace Champerret.
Some of the main roads of the 17th arrondissement include the Boulevard Pereire, the Avenue des Ternes and the Avenue de Wagram. This Parisian district is not the best served by metro but you can take lines 3 or 13 which run through the area.
