If you want to park in Poble Sec, or also known as Pueblo Seco, you should know that it is a neighbourhood of Barcelona which is mostly residential, ​​with some areas of low houses, but thanks to its central location, you can find a wide range of leisure and restaurants.

If you come to visit it´s a good idea to stay the night, because it is a very well connected area, a few minutes from the historic centre of Barcelona. It goes from the middle of Avenida del Paralelo to the port, and is at the bottom of Montjuic, where you´ll find the Palau de Sant Jordi (Palace of Sant Jordi). In Poble Sec you´ll find the Palau de Congresos (Palace of Congresses), so if you travel to Barcelona for business, we recommend that you stay there. The neighbourhood is in a regulated parking area, most of it is a green zone (for residents), which means that it allows you to stay the same space for only a short time.

If you want to park near El Raval, another alternative is NN Borrell, a few minutes from the Poble Sec and Paralelo metro stops, and close to the Sala Apolo and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona. For those who are getting on a cruise, there is the Aparcrucero car park, which offers a shuttle service to the terminal, so you can comfortably leave your vehicle protected during your trip. It is a 9-minute walk from the Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia-Barcelona and the Joan Miró Foundation. Also a 9-minute walk from the Maritime Museum is Aparcaments Paralelo car park, surrounded by several hotels and close to the Jardines del Campo and the Jardines de las Tres Chimeneas.

Poble Sec, Dry Town, gets its name from the lack of water and fountains in the area, until the end of the 19th century. It thrives as a simple and working neighbourhood, with steep streets that run between the Paralelo and the Montjuic mountain. Traditionally you could find the cheapest beer in Barcelona, ​​in old bars, but nowadays Poble Sec is much more than just that, and the area is starting to become a gastronomic landmark, where restaurants of renowned chefs are increasing.

Poble Sec also has an artistic past. Here you can find numerous theatres that have been well-maintained over the years, such as Teatro El Molino, Teatro Apolo, Teatro Victoria and Teatro Condal. In addition, there is a great nightlife. Despite this, Pueblo Seco is still more more popular amongst locals than tourists, who are more focused on other parts of the city. Many tour guides do not pay much attention to this neighbourhood. But the truth is that walking its streets and discovering its shops, bars and theatres is a highly recommended option, to enjoy the most authentic Barcelona, ​​where that neighbourhood identity is preserved and where you can get a real feel for the origin of the city - bohemian and multicultural.
